Opportunity:

PCG’s Project Managers provide thought leadership through business consulting services to our customers focusing on business process transformation within various industries. The Project Manager will help our customers develop a singular process transform workstream to centralize and drive toward a standard adoption. This will include a process of design, training of process, and organizational/role mapping to methods.

The Project Manager will deliver end-to-end implementations within the Infor Cloud Suite CE or Infor LN On-Prem Solutions within the following industries:

Automotive
Aerospace & Defense
Industrial Equipment Enterprise
Hi-Tech Electronics

Location:

PCG employees can reside anywhere in the US, travel to customer sites when required

Responsibilities:

Represents the project to both the business and IT management
Will learn the Infor Deployment Methodology and Implementation Accelerators training to ensure consistency and successful delivery
Works with the customer PM to develop a detailed project plan and schedule
In conjunction with the customer PM closely manages scope, cost, and schedule
Acts as a primary point of contact for all project communications
Validates the effective planning and availability of all PCG resources
Provide weekly customer timesheet report
Participate in Client Steering Committee as required
Must understand the project business objectives and have a clear vision of how to achieve those objectives.
Resolve the conflict among the differing objectives of the various parties to the project.
Agrees on the scope of the project with the client, makes sure the implementation remains within the agreed-upon scope, and guards against scope creep.
Review significant deliverables and work products - particularly those from the earlier phases of the project
Responsible for comparing the project planning, resourcing, monitoring, and reporting progress against the plan.
Ensure the Software Solution is ready for deployment as per project planning timescales and escalate to PCG Project Sponsor if issues arise that they are not able to resolve through normal channels
Understands the project business objectives and have a clear vision of how to achieve those objectives
Resolve the conflict among the differing objectives of the various parties to the project.
Responsible for the management and reporting of the project budget
Help identify issues clearly and concisely and facilitates the tracking, escalation, and resolution of those issues
Initiates and expedites change control procedures when required to validate out-of-scope requirements and address budget and timeline variations
Verifies that major project issues are identified to the appropriate levels of Client and PCG management
Reports on project status
Participates in regular project status and steering committee meetings

Qualifications:

Must have strong business process change management and operational transformation background
Experience managing Infor LN implementations required
ERP project management experience required and knowledge of ERP solution
Successfully acted as an advisor and built relationships among stakeholder community
Experience managing upward among senior leadership
Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts and technologies to the business
Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
Proficient with Project Management planning tools – Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
