Role: Oracle Fusion Cloud Support Specialist – Projects (Plan-to-Produce, Project-to-Cash)
This opportunity resides in our Oracle Fusion Cloud Managed Services team and reports to the Director, Managed Services.
Our customer is a defense technology company therefore requiring candidates for this role to be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Location: PCG employees can reside anywhere in the US and work remote when not traveling to the customer site. Travel will be required periodically but will be minimal – up to 15%.
Work Schedule: 8:30AM-5:00PM PST
Key Responsibilities
Technical and Functional Support:
Provide timely support and guidance to end-users for Oracle Fusion Cloud Projects applications, helping them to utilize the system effectively.
System support and maintenance:
Proactively monitor the Oracle Fusion environment to identify and resolve issues related to project and supply chain processes.
Manage and test quarterly updates from Oracle to ensure new functionalities and patches do not disrupt the production and project lifecycles.
Troubleshooting and issue resolution:
Diagnose and resolve system issues and user errors that arise during the creation, execution, and closure of production-related projects.
Collaborate with Oracle Support to resolve complex technical issues and follow up on service requests (SRs).
User support and training:
Create and document training materials to help business process owners and end-users with new or enhanced functionality.
Essential skills and qualifications
A successful support specialist in this area typically possesses a mix of functional, technical, and analytical skills.
Deep functional knowledge: Expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Projects (Plan to Produce, Project to Cash) ) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, particularly Project Management, Manufacturing, and Inventory.
Analytical skills: Ability to analyze business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Problem-solving: Strong diagnostic and resolution skills to address system issues and user errors quickly.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with business users, developers, and Oracle support.
PCG Environment:
